Thanks to its climate, calm waters and strong winds throughout the year, it is the perfect place for visitors and water sports fans to come and explore its waters. The Calima Dam is among the three most recognized artificial lakes in the world, which offer ideal conditions for learning and practicing sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing and sailing.

Calima Lake is also a place where you can enjoy a relaxing ferry ride or an adventurous boat ride. After enjoying a delicious traditional lunch with a fantastic view of the lake, we will head to the town El Darién, where we can observe the traditional architecture of Valle del Cauca.

To make this experience unforgettable, we will explore the Río Bravo Natural Reserve. This magical place is one of the last remnants of protected forest in the western mountain range.

In a small backpack bring:
– Swimming suit, spare dry clothes, small towel, flip-flops, rain jacket or poncho for the rain, hat, sunscreen, mosquitoes repellent and bottle of water.

Additional information:
– The tour is not canceled in case of bad weather, your belongings will be stored in a locker at the beginning of the tour, everything you carry from then on must be waterproof, consider bringing a plastic or waterproof bag to store the items you you want to take during the tour.

– The use of a life jacket is mandatory while you are sailing on the lake or when you are instructed to use it.
